In a mountain range, high above an unknown grand canyon, a seemingly ordinary white cloud drifted leisurely.
Inside the cloud, two hairy Rong tribesmen were secretly hidden, whispering to each other.
"Brother Xuan, it's been over a day since those Blazefire tribesmen left," a Rong tribesman with a green mole on his forehead said to his companion, clearly worried. "Why haven't they returned yet? Nothing bad could have happened, could it?"
"An accident? What kind of accident could there be!" replied the other Rong tribesman, clad in crimson battle armor, dismissively. "The two escaped Skycloud cultivators were severely weakened, and there were four Blazefire tribesmen pursuing them. There shouldn't be any problem. Most likely, the two Skycloud cultivators used some secret art to stimulate their potential, which is why it's taking a bit longer."
"Hmm, those two Skycloud cultivators do indeed possess some peculiar escape techniques; otherwise, they wouldn't have gotten away that day," the Rong tribesman who spoke first said, seemingly convinced, and nodded.
"However, the final part of the Golden Seal Inscription in the secret cave actually requires multiple Guanghan Tokens to lift the restriction. That's truly unexpected," the Rong tribesman in armor sighed. "This means we'll have to wait quietly for tribesmen from other teams to arrive. We don't even know if two Guanghan Tokens will truly be enough; it might even require three or four. If that's the case, we might only end up with an incomplete cultivation method."
"The restriction of the last part of the Golden Seal Inscription is quite different from the previous sections, clearly indicating it's the most crucial part," the green-moled Rong tribesman said, also appearing somewhat dejected. "If this final incantation is truly missing, even if this immortal realm cultivation method is incredibly profound, it will likely be difficult to cultivate successfully. Unfortunately, none of us recognize the Golden Seal Inscription, which is a spiritual script of the True Immortal Realm. Otherwise, we could have first tried to comprehend the preceding content, to at least have some idea."
"Since it's a cultivation method recorded in Golden Seal Inscriptions, how could we possibly give up easily?" The armored Rong tribesman's expression darkened slightly. "The problem is that the nearest team is still four or five days away. If we truly need more Guanghan Tokens, we might have to waste months here. In that case, our original seclusion and advancement plans could all be disrupted."
"It is indeed a bit troublesome," the green-moled Rong tribesman said slowly, frowning. "But if this Golden Seal Inscription cultivation method proves to be truly useful, it might make our entire tribe significantly stronger. Compared to that, what do other things matter?"
"Although that's true, the Guanghan Realm is an excellent opportunity for us to advance to the Saint Rank," the armored Rong tribesman said, somewhat dejectedly. "I really don't want to miss this excellent opportunity."
"There's no point talking about anything else now," said the green-moled Rong tribesman. "We can only hope that the other teams receive our message and send the Guanghan Tokens as soon as possible. It's also quite incredible to think about. All along, our tribes have only considered these tokens as keys to enter the Guanghan Realm. Who would have thought that they could also be so useful for some of the restrictions in this realm? We must report this to the tribal elders later, so that more attention can be paid to this matter when the Guanghan Realm opens in the future."
And so, these two Rong tribesmen hid in the white cloud, chatting idly back and forth.
But if one were to listen from outside the white cloud, no sound of their voices would be heard at all.
The white cloud where they were hidden was actually formed by some mysterious restriction. These two were, of course, Rong tribe sentinels.
Unbeknownst to these two Rong tribesmen, as they were speaking, a phantom figure that even divine sense couldn't detect was suspended over a hundred feet above the white cloud, brazenly observing them.
The cloud-shaped restriction seemed utterly unable to obstruct this person's gaze.
This figure was precisely Han Li, who had finally arrived after spending most of a day traveling.
Although the cloud restriction was quite mysterious, Han Li, relying on his spiritual eye ability, had detected the presence of these two foreign tribesmen a step earlier.
He immediately used the Taiyi Cleansing Talisman from afar to virtualize his body before slowly flying to this location.
Relying on his powerful divine sense, which far surpassed that of the two below, the conversation of these two Rong tribesmen naturally entered his ears.
Knowing that the Rong tribesmen had not succeeded, he breathed a sigh of relief. However, when he heard that the restriction in the secret cave still required Guanghan Tokens to be broken, his expression subtly changed.
But Han Li immediately remembered something and quickly returned to normal.
A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he cast a deep glance downwards, and with a movement of his body, he slowly drifted towards the canyon below.
The two foreign tribesmen below, being so close yet unaware of his presence, could naturally be eliminated with ease if he truly intended to act.
However, as soon as he considered that both of them might possess life talismans or similar items, he realized that killing them would likely immediately alert the other Rong tribesmen in the secret cave, and so he discarded that idea.
After all, his purpose for this trip was not to kill.
Before seeing the Golden Seal Inscription cultivation method, he had no intention whatsoever of alerting the Rong tribesmen.
As Han Li pondered this, he lightly drifted dozens of feet deep into the canyon, while blue light flickered in his eyes as he scanned the canyon walls.
His expression shifted, and his gaze fixed upon a certain rock wall. The rock wall was pale yellow, with several cracks on its surface, appearing utterly ordinary.
But in Han Li's eyes, when viewed from a certain peculiar angle, these cracks formed a Big Dipper star map.
A hint of joy flashed across his face, and without hesitation, he propelled his body directly towards this rock wall.
With a soft "thump"!
A faint spiritual light flashed on the surface of the rock wall, and his body seamlessly sank into it without any obstruction.
The next moment, Han Li felt his vision brighten, and he suddenly appeared in an unusually wide passage.
On the four walls of the passage, fist-sized crystal stones were embedded, emitting a faint white glow.
And dozens of feet ahead, a half-open azure wooden door stood.
Over sixty feet tall, its surface was pitted and uneven, and a corner was missing a piece, looking as if it had been forced open with brute strength.
Han Li gazed at the door, his eyes narrowing slightly.
Along the edge of this massive azure door, golden light shimmered, engraved with some pale golden runes. Although most of them appeared incomplete, he recognized them at a glance as Golden Seal Spiritual Script.
On either side of the giant door, one black and one white, two robed Rong tribesmen sat cross-legged with their eyes slightly closed.
These two Rong tribesmen, although both were covered in thick fur, one was as white as snow while the other was as black as ink, presenting a truly strange sight!
These Rong tribesmen were surprisingly cautious, having arranged personnel even here.
Han Li looked at the ten to thirteen-foot-wide gap between the black and white Rong tribesmen and couldn't help but frown again.
Even though he had confidence in the Taiyi Cleansing Talisman, and his cultivation had significantly advanced, making its virtualization far more profound than during the early Void Refinement stage, truly passing right between the two of them would still carry some risk. He wasn't entirely sure he wouldn't alert these two beings of his same cultivation level.
However, Han Li didn't hesitate for long. After taking a deep breath inwardly and steeling his resolve, he silently drifted towards the azure giant door.
Since he had already arrived here, he couldn't possibly turn back. At worst, if he truly alerted these two, he would immediately attack and kill them, then force his way in.
This was naturally not a good plan, but under these circumstances, there was no other choice.
Even if there were many Rong tribesmen here, he wasn't truly very afraid if it came to a mobile fight.
His only apprehension was that the Rong tribesmen, driven to desperation, might destroy the Golden Seal Inscription in the cave.
His loss then would be irreparable.
After all, for secret arts of the immortal realm like this, even missing just a few Golden Seal characters could prevent one from successfully cultivating the Soul Refining Art.
Of course, this possibility was still relatively low.
If he acted fast enough, and even resorted to using the Profound Sky Fragment Blade and the Gold Devouring Beetles, he was confident he had a high chance of eliminating the Rong tribesmen in the cave without giving them a chance.
Han Li weighed the pros and cons of the situation in his mind, instantly gaining a clear understanding, before flying directly towards the two black and white Rong tribesmen.
One hundred feet, sixty feet, thirty feet...
Han Li's virtualized body arrived between the black and white Rong tribesmen in a flash.
Just then, the Rong tribesman who was entirely black suddenly twitched an eyelid and abruptly opened his eyes, with sharp light radiating from them.
Han Li's heart tensed, but his body immediately paused and stopped in place, no longer making any movement.
"What is it, fellow Daoist? Did you find something?" the white-furred Rong tribesman sitting opposite asked, sensing his companion's action and opening his eyes to scan the surroundings, somewhat doubtfully.
The entirely black Rong tribesman didn't reply, but released his divine sense, sweeping past Han Li's virtualized body, scanning the entire passage ahead, before retracting it.
"Nothing, my mind just felt a bit strange for a moment; it seems it was just my imagination," the entirely black Rong tribesman then said slowly. "On another note, I've been feeling uneasy recently whenever I meditate, and I don't know why."
"I see," the snow-white Rong tribesman smiled and said. "But that's not surprising; I've been the same way ever since entering the Guanghan Realm. Most likely, you and I have been too tense these past few days, which is why we're experiencing this abnormality."
"Perhaps that's true," the entirely black Rong tribesman said with a slight frown after a moment of thought.
But the very next moment, he suddenly flicked his sleeve, and a stream of silver threads shot out from it, dense silver glints flashing, covering the entire passage ahead.
Han Li saw this situation, his pupils suddenly constricting, yet he stood completely still, allowing the silver threads to strike his body.
A strange sight appeared!
After a series of "crackling" sounds, the silver threads flashed, piercing directly through Han Li's virtualized body and striking the ground, revealing their true forms.
Cold light shimmered as they sank halfway into the ground, revealing themselves to be countless inch-long, hair-thin silver needles.
The two Rong tribesmen gazed at the empty passage, their eyes gleaming, both expressionless!
