Chapter 1650: Hole Spirit

As Han Li and the Saint-ranked Fiendish Ape finally engaged in a direct confrontation, within one of the labyrinthine demonic qi passages, the Crystal Clan woman Qianqian and the azure Kylin phantom stopped their advance, protected by a dark light curtain.

About ten zhang away from them, there was a stark black stone wall. It was clearly the end of the passage, with no path beyond.

"This must be it!" the Kylin phantom said with certainty, its eyes flashing.

"Kylin Shadow, don't make a mistake. The formation flags for opening the Spiritual Acupoint are single-use, and I barely managed to refine one set," Qianqian replied with unusual caution.

"It's good to be careful. Wait a moment," the azure Kylin said, tilting its head in thought, then agreeing.

Then it suddenly opened its mouth and spat out an azure orb.

The orb spun rapidly, transforming into a wisp of azure mist that swept towards the stone wall opposite them.

A strange scene then unfolded.

After the azure mist vanished into the stone wall in a flash, a low whistling sound suddenly emanated from deep within the wall moments later. Then, a dark gleam appeared on the wall's surface, and the azure light mist was forcefully repelled, bouncing back from the wall.

With a flash of spiritual light, the azure mist coalesced and reformed into the orb.

"No problem at all! This is indeed the right place," the azure Kylin said excitedly, opening its mouth to reabsorb the orb.

"Alright, I'll set up the formation now. Let's open the Spiritual Acupoint!" Qianqian exclaimed, her face beaming with joy after hearing the mini Kylin's assurance.

She then flipped her wrist, revealing a stack of pre-prepared azure formation flags.

These flags appeared ordinary at first glance, but upon closer inspection, one could discern that their surfaces were intricately inlaid with densely woven gold and silver threads, resembling layers of spiderwebs.

Qianqian flicked her wrist.

Dozens of azure rays shot out like streaks of light, but paused mid-flight before abruptly converging in the center.

In an instant, an azure formation several zhang in size materialized out of thin air and vanished into the stone wall opposite them.

However, the stone wall remained silent and showed no signs of abnormality.

Qianqian seemed to have anticipated this; she casually made a grabbing motion in the air with both hands.

In one hand, a small blue bell appeared, while in the other, a white Ruyi scepter materialized.

The small bell was crystal clear, with a faint blue liquid glowing within, appearing exceptionally brilliant. The Ruyi scepter, however, was ancient in style, its surface dull and even somewhat damaged.

The Crystal Clan woman glanced at the two treasures in her hands with a hint of reluctance, then forcefully tossed them forward with both hands.

Immediately, a ball of blue light and a ball of white light shot out simultaneously, circling in the air before changing direction and colliding.

With a "boom," both treasures shattered like porcelain, sending countless fragments flying in all directions.

When the light subsided, two liquid masses, one blue and one red, quietly floated in the air.

Upon seeing the two objects, the nearby mini Kylin Shadow couldn't help but reveal a flicker of greed in its eyes, which it immediately suppressed. Yet, it still murmured under its breath:

"The spiritual blood of the Eight-legged Fiend Beast and the Undying Phoenix—you barely managed to collect it after exhausting centuries of your family's resources. And it was nurtured for another hundred years within these two unique treasures. If consumed raw, it could completely cleanse your body and strengthen your meridians. Even my spirit could benefit immensely."

"Our Crystal Clan is different from ordinary races. True Spirit Blood doesn't affect me as much as you might think. And even though True Spirit Blood is precious, it can't compare to the benefits within the True Spirit Acupoint," Qianqian responded with unusual calm.

"Hehe, that's true! Your Crystal Clan physique is indeed unique. What's inside the True Spirit Acupoint is what will truly be useful to you. Using these as keys to activate the Spirit Blood is unavoidable. After all, you and I are only in a symbiotic relationship. Without True Spirit essence blood, it's impossible to make the Acupoint Spirit appear and fall into slumber. It's already incredibly difficult for beings outside of True Spirits to open the True Spirit Acupoint," Kylin Shadow said with a low chuckle, agreeing.

The Crystal Clan woman smiled, then said nothing more, rapidly flicking her fingers.

Streaks of incantations shot out, vanishing into the liquid masses in a flash.

As the two liquid masses absorbed the incantations, they spun rapidly, then abruptly converged and merged into a single sphere of intertwined blue and red light.

With a point from Qianqian in the air, the sphere slowly floated towards the stone wall.

A low whistling sound emanated once again from deep within the stone wall. Following this, an azure light flashed on the wall's surface, and the azure formation that had vanished earlier reappeared.

Runes swirled within the formation. With a slight rotation, a wisp of azure mist flew out and enveloped the blue and red sphere.

The entire formation then flickered and vanished back into the stone wall.

Seeing this, the Crystal Clan woman's expression grew solemn. She chanted incantations while continuously forming hand seals.

The stone wall did not fall silent as it had before. Instead, dark light began to flicker erratically across its surface, which then twisted as if coming alive.

Then, the stone wall suddenly peeled away layer by layer, and a radiant object abruptly squeezed out from within.

It was a huge, blank face, with no features other than two eyes, a nose, and a large mouth. Its age was impossible to discern.

Once this large face appeared, its eyes remained tightly shut, and it showed no further movement.

"Quick, now!" Kylin Shadow urged upon seeing the radiant face.

Qianqian also let out a tense cry, accelerating her hand seals.

The vanished azure light formation reappeared, but only for a flicker before dissipating. Only the blue and red liquid sphere remained, motionless, in the empty space.

As if startled by the actions of the azure light formation, the large face stirred, and its tightly shut eyes slowly opened, revealing pupils as dark and bright as the night sky.

It gazed at the blue and red True Spirit Blood before it. Suddenly, the entire large face extended forward and swallowed the liquid mass whole. Then, a flash of blue and red light appeared on the large face, revealing an expression of satisfied contentment.

After glancing at Qianqian, who was not far away, it opened its mouth wide. Its mouth rapidly expanded until it was almost as large as its entire face.

Then, with a flash of light, the large face solidified into a motionless white stone, and its gaping mouth transformed into a whitish, deep passage that slanted downwards into what seemed like an unknown underground area.

"It's done! The Acupoint Spirit has fallen into slumber, let's go in quickly!" Kylin Shadow cried out, overjoyed.

Qianqian's face was also filled with uncontainable excitement. After nodding, she immediately flicked her sleeve, sweeping up Kylin Shadow. Then, her body moved, transforming into a startling rainbow of light that shot forward.

The escape light flickered at the entrance before disappearing.

As the Crystal Clan woman and Kylin Shadow joyfully rushed into the passage, they didn't notice a faint, inconspicuous flicker of blood-red light in one corner of the stone wall, which then subsided into complete stillness.

And just moments later, a golden flower flew out from the demonic qi behind them. After circling nearby, it also plunged into what appeared to be the white passage.

At the same time, outside the large mountain, a streak of blood-red light shot from the horizon. With a flash, a figure abruptly appeared at the entrance of the demonic qi passage.

This person, clad in silver armor and with an unusually grim expression, was none other than the man surnamed Gui.

"The warning restriction I left earlier has been triggered. Those two really are here for the True Spirit Acupoint. Good, very good, it saves me the effort of activating it myself," the man surnamed Gui muttered, his face filled with malevolent energy.

With a surge of blood-red light, he transformed into a blood-red rainbow and shot directly into the passage.

It was unknown what kind of divine ability his blood-red light cultivated, but upon contact with the demonic qi, the qi recoiled and evaded him, vanishing in an instant.

Shortly after the man surnamed Gui entered the demonic qi, a silver light flashed in the nearby void, and a small figure also materialized out of thin air nearby.

It was the woman, Jiuye.

She gazed at the surging demonic qi in the passage, her face filled with surprise.

"The demonic qi here is so dense; it seems only those few lords could possess such divine abilities. Could this be the secret dwelling of Iron Demon or Blood Arm?" she blurted out. Her expression remained uncertain for a moment, then she finally stomped her foot and transformed into a streak of silver light, vanishing into the passage.

As a high-tier demonic beast, she would only become stronger in the demonic qi, naturally fearing it not in the slightest.

Han Li stood in a corner of the hall. Two shimmering golden heads had appeared on either side of his shoulders, and four additional golden arms had suddenly sprouted from beneath his ribs.

Each of the four arms held a golden, glistening weapon: a staff, a pestle, a wheel, and a ruler. Two arms crossed over, each clamping down on a massive fist.

The four weapons trembled slightly in the air, emitting low, mournful sounds, as if struggling immensely.

Dark qi churned on the surface of the two fists, and surges of energy continuously erupted downwards from them.

However, when they struck the crystal-like, shimmering light barrier before Han Li, they immediately split and slid past on either side, unable to inflict the slightest damage.

In the high sky a little further away, two fist-sized golden beetles fluttered up and down around a cluster of purple, shimmering broken blades, chasing each other ceaselessly.

Whenever the broken blade moved, a purple streak would cleave out, directly sending one of the Gold Devouring Beetles tumbling back more than ten zhang.

But the other Gold Devouring Beetle would immediately close in to bite, forcing the broken blade to temporarily retreat.

Although powerful, it seemed unable to unleash two consecutive strikes, and its main body appeared somewhat fragile, unable to withstand even a few bites from the Gold Devouring Beetles.
