Chapter 1507: Yinshui Kuei Spirit and Five Dragon Cleaver

"After being ambushed by those ghosts, although I reacted quickly, the puppets I managed to retrieve were fewer than I had prepared," a blood-robed figure said.

"My situation is even worse," sighed the white-haired beauty. "Not only were several Ghost Kings severely wounded by the self-destruction of my puppets, but the remaining Yin Soldiers were also completely annihilated by Brother Six-Legged's wind-elemental divine abilities."

"Fellow Daoist Lan, why say such things!" Six-Legged's compound eyes flashed with a peculiar gleam as he spoke grimly. "Though we initially agreed you only needed to refine eight thousand ghost soldiers, the pure Yin Qi you took from me was far more than that amount. You must have refined more Dark Armored Profound Ghosts, haven't you? At this point, it's not the time to be stingy." The white-haired beauty paused, then a hint of embarrassment appeared on her face.

"I didn't expect Brother Six-Legged to know about this," she admitted. "Indeed, just in case, I did refine an additional five hundred elite ghost soldiers. While not a large number, their individual strength is superior to ordinary Dark Armored Profound Ghosts."

"Good," Six-Legged said. "With the remaining puppets and these few hundred Yin Soldiers assisting us, traversing the remaining short distance, even with a few dangerous areas, will certainly not be a problem. I know you all may have other plans, but once we acquire the Styx Divine Nectar, we can go our separate ways. I won't interfere with your actions. However, until we reach our destination, it's best you don't get distracted by other matters or try to scheme. Otherwise, don't blame me for being merciless." His gaze swept over Mu Qing and the other two, carrying a hint of threat.

The white-haired beauty's expression shifted slightly, Mu Qing remained impassive, and the blood-robed figure named Di Ming's four eyes flashed with a blood-red light. None of them showed any reaction, as if Six-Legged's words had never been spoken.

Six-Legged showed no surprise at their demeanor. With a wave of his hand, he simply said, "Depart!"

He instantly transformed into a black light and flew in their original direction.

Below, a dozen high-level demonic creatures immediately activated their escape lights and followed.

Seeing this, the two blood-robed figures shook their four sleeves. Dense black dots flew out from their cuffs, bursting with various colors the moment they landed, transforming into puppets of different designs. These puppets were clearly meticulously preserved by the two blood-eyed individuals! Not only were they all intact and new, but most were exceptionally exquisite.

At this moment, the white-haired beauty also raised her hand, sending a palm-sized black leather pouch flying. With a spell, she activated it.

The pouch spun in the air, its opening turning downwards, and a gushing stream of Yin wind sprayed out from it. Amidst flying sand and stones, teams of black-armored ghost soldiers emerged.

The design of these ghost soldiers' armor was similar to the previous Dark Armored Profound Ghosts, but they appeared a few shades sturdier and thicker. Additionally, these ghost soldiers were slightly taller than ordinary Profound Ghosts, making them look exceptionally menacing from afar.

"Go!" the beauty commanded. Surrounded by several ghost soldiers, she transformed into a swirling black cloud of mist and chased after Six-Legged. Yuan Yao and Yan Li had no choice but to leave Han Li's side and follow, albeit reluctantly. The puppet army also soared into the air, enveloped in various spiritual lights, flying at a low altitude. The Purple Blood Puppet, Xi Bi, flew at the very front of all the puppets, with the two blood-robed figures still standing steadily on its shoulders.

Seeing this, Mu Qing calmly glanced at Han Li, then without a word, stomped her jade foot on the golden flower beneath her, transforming into a streak of escape light that shot forth.

"Fellow Daoist Han, let's follow them!" Han Li's gaze swept over to Jin Ling, who was speaking to him with a half-smile, appearing ready to advance and retreat with him. Without changing his expression, Han Li nodded. A green light enveloped his body, and he transformed into a green rainbow, flying out. The Golden Ape let out a low chuckle, similarly transforming into a golden light and closely following...

Several days later, in the depths of the Styx Lands, in front of a stone cave within a grayish-white mountain range, several ghost creatures of various forms stood quietly.

Some of these ghosts were enveloped in a layer of green smoke, some were merely faint white shadows, and others were colossal skeletons several yards tall... The white-robed ghost woman who had once fought Han Li but then abandoned the fight was among them. However, they were all in a sorry state, either missing limbs or extremely weak in aura.

Even the ghost woman Han Li found so troublesome was missing an arm, along with a section of the sleeve from her eerie white robe, rendering her one-armed.

All these ghost creatures looked disheveled. In their midst, however, stood a being clad in blood-red armor with a face mask – a member of the Mayfly Clan's Blood-Armored Puppets.

Outwardly, this puppet appeared no different from an ordinary Blood-Armored Puppet. However, the surrounding ghost creatures looked at it with a mix of awe and even fear.

Standing motionless before so many high-level ghosts, the puppet gazed at the unusually deep cave entrance, faint green light flickering in its eyes.

After an unknown period, a long sigh echoed from deep within the cave, followed by an ancient voice softly emerging: "You, an emissary of the Mayfly Clan, have once again found this old man. Do you not feel you've come to the wrong person?" Upon hearing these words, the ghost creatures at the cave entrance immediately looked desolate. The Blood-Armored Puppet's eyes flashed with spiritual light, and it also spoke:

"Senior, this junior acts out of necessity. The power of those who broke through the barrier and entered the Sacred Land this time far exceeds what this junior and others imagined. There are four or five beings at the same Heavenly Mayfly level as us. Apart from myself, the puppet avatars of the others have all been destroyed, even though I've already sent out a distress signal. However, the earliest the Sacred Land can open again is in half a year. With such a long time, I fear these individuals would have long since escaped. I hope Senior will consider our past acquaintance and lend a helping hand!" The Blood-Armored Puppet bowed, exceptionally respectful.

"Hmph," the ancient voice coldly snorted, making the entire cave hum and reverberate, clearly displeased. "This old man had an agreement with your Mayfly Clan back then, merely to borrow your Sacred Land to prolong my existence for a while. I never pledged allegiance to your clan. The agreed-upon payment was settled long ago. This time, upon entering the Styx Lands, you asked me to gather high-level ghost creatures for assistance, which I reluctantly agreed to. Now you ask me to personally intervene and eliminate your enemies? Don't you think you're pushing your luck too far?"

"Senior Jiang, this junior is unaware of any agreement you had with my clan. However, with your esteemed divine abilities, dealing with these individuals would be but a trivial matter. If Senior truly finds it inconvenient to act personally, lending this junior the Five-Dragon Execution Blade would also suffice." The puppet's eyes shifted a few times as it surprisingly suggested this.

"The Five-Dragon Execution Blade is one of this old man's top treasures. Why should I lend it to you?" The elder's voice turned frigid, as if recalling unpleasant memories. "On that day, to enter the Styx Lands, this old man approached several exalted elders of your clan and paid a sufficient price."

The Blood-Armored Puppet's heart suddenly stirred. After a slight hesitation, it reached into its blood-red armor with one hand and produced a small, jet-black bottle. It was thumb-sized but exceptionally intricate.

"Before this junior departed, the clan elders bestowed a small bottle of Yin Water Sunflower Essence," the Blood-Armored Puppet declared loudly, carefully holding up the small bottle. "This junior is willing to use this item to exchange for one act of assistance from Senior!"

"Yin Water Sunflower Essence!" the ancient voice tensed, seemingly surprised.

"This substance takes over a hundred thousand years to form even a tiny bit, and there aren't many to be found in the entire Spirit Realm. It can truly be considered a rare treasure!" As the puppet sensed the other party's hesitation, its confidence grew, and it spoke clearly.

With a whoosh, a black mist swirled out from the cave, instantly snatching the small bottle from the puppet and carrying it back into the cave. The Blood-Armored Puppet showed no intention of stopping it!

"Indeed, it is Yin Water Sunflower Essence. It seems those old fellows in your clan have been planning against me for a while now." A moment later, the ancient voice spoke again, now with a faint hint of pleasure.

"Then Senior has agreed!" The Blood-Armored Puppet rejoiced inwardly.

"I have agreed, but this old man has an arrangement with your clan's elders. I need to suppress the Yin Qi backlash in this space for your Mayfly Clan. The source of Yin Qi here has been unstable lately, so it's impossible for me to leave this place. You may take my Five-Dragon Execution Blade for this task!" the ancient voice said after a slight pause.

"Thank you, Senior! With the Five-Dragon Execution Blade in hand, this junior alone can contend with five Heavenly Mayfly-level existences. It will be more than enough to eliminate those individuals!" the Blood-Armored Puppet exclaimed, overjoyed.

"Since you've agreed, receive the treasure!"

The person inside the cave was quite efficient. After a low command, a silver light shot out from within, instantly appearing before the Blood-Armored Puppet and hovering at a low altitude. The Blood-Armored Puppet quickly focused its gaze.

It saw what appeared to be an ordinary silver-white execution blade suspended there. Aside from its mirror-like sheen, there was nothing seemingly extraordinary about it. "Senior, this... this is truly the Five-Dragon Execution Blade?" The Blood-Armored Puppet lifted the blade into its hand and examined it carefully, a hint of suspicion flashing in its eyes.

"Hehe! What, are you afraid this old man is tricking you?" the ancient voice let out a cold laugh.

"I wouldn't dare, it's just this blade..." The Blood-Armored Puppet's heart tightened, and it hastily tried to explain. But just then, the blade in its hand trembled, and with a sudden tremor of its fingers, it flew out of its grasp.

After circling once in the air, the treasure emitted a brilliant silver light, followed by a clear, resonant dragon's roar. Five enormous, phantom flood dragons slowly emerged above the blade, each of a different color, baring their fangs and brandishing their claws, creating an astonishing display of power.

"The Five-Dragon Execution Blade is a supreme treasure that this old man forged from the bones and souls of five powerful, evil flood dragons I slew during my travels on other continents," the ancient voice said proudly. "The moment it was refined, it ascended to the Chaos Myriad Spirits List, ranking among the top Heavenly Spirit Treasures."

"Senior is too kind to jest!" The Blood-Armored Puppet was overjoyed by the blade's manifestation and, now without a doubt, quickly formed a hand seal. The execution blade instantly transformed into a silver rainbow and vanished into its sleeve.
