Chapter 1171: Silver Cocoon Pattern

**Volume Six: Heaven-Reaching Spirit Treasure**

Han Li's gaze swept over the area. With a flick of his finger, a streak of green sword energy shot towards a submerged reef at the bottom of the lake.

With a soft 'thud,' before the sword energy could strike the reef, a layer of light blue shimmering light suddenly appeared beneath it, instantly blocking the attack.

However, this blue shimmer was clearly exceptionally weak. It only lasted for a moment before being sliced through by the sword energy. The entire light curtain dissolved into specks of spiritual light, vanishing without a trace.

After the reef below flickered, it seemingly disappeared as if in welcome. In its place, a five-colored light barrier emerged, encompassing an area of over a hundred zhang at the lake bottom. The surface of the barrier shimmered with various spiritual lights, making it impossible to discern the situation or what lay beneath it.

Feeling the surging spiritual energy emanating from the light barrier, Han Li stroked his chin, his eyes narrowing slightly.

The blue light curtain earlier was merely a simple illusionary restriction. It seemed to have been set up temporarily by the beautiful woman and her two companions, while the light barrier beneath it was the true restriction personally laid by Barbarian Hu.

Since Barbarian Hu only had his Nascent Soul remaining and had passed away too hastily, he naturally wouldn't have left behind any artifacts or incantations for Han Li to remove the restriction.

Han Li could only break it by force.

However, this restriction was clearly formed from a convergence of the Five Elements' power. Even with his divine abilities, it would take some effort to break through it.

Pondering this, Han Li no longer hesitated. He formed a hand seal, and instantly, a silver light flashed from the opening of his storage pouch at his waist. An egg-shaped figure eerily appeared behind him.

It was none other than the humanoid puppet!

Han Li then flicked his sleeve, and thirty-six golden flying swords instantly shot out. Amidst a buzzing sound, they converged in the center, astonishingly forming a massive golden sword over ten zhang long.

He cast an incantation, which struck the surface of the great sword.

With a loud rumbling sound, an arm-thick golden arc emerged on the surface of the great sword. It then coiled once and transformed into a lifelike electrical python.

The python circled the great sword several times, then raised its neck and let out a hissing sound. Its presence was truly astonishing.

Meanwhile, the humanoid puppet beside him also raised a hand, and a small red blade arced out. With a gentle pull of its other hand, a small emerald green arrow appeared on the bowstring.

As thunder boomed, similar golden arcs shot out from the surface of the small arrow, flickering intermittently.

Han Li's expression hardened. He slowly pointed a finger into the air, and the great sword, like a mountain-cleaving divine weapon, descended with booming sounds.

Almost simultaneously, the small blade in the humanoid puppet's hand also trembled, and a streak of emerald light, mixed with faint golden glints, shot forth.

An earth-shattering roar erupted. The surface of the light barrier shook violently, then was engulfed by boundless golden light and electrical arcs. The nearby lake water also churned and surged, forming an underwater vortex that shot directly towards the lake surface.

Han Li stood motionless within the vortex, seemingly unaffected by the turbulent currents around him.

Finally, the light receded, and the golden glow vanished.

Han Li focused his gaze downwards. His expression shifted, and a faint smile appeared on his face.

Below, the five-colored light barrier had disappeared, revealing a small cultivation array with a diameter of over ten zhang at the center of the original spot, emitting a faint glow.

The emerald green lake water surged forward, but upon contact with the white light, it was completely blocked, unable to enter.

This array was surprisingly forged from a special material, possessing the ability to repel water.

A hint of surprise flickered in Han Li's eyes. With a wave of his hand, he recalled the puppet. Then, with a flicker of his body, he stood atop the array.

He did not rush to teleport but instead studied the small teleportation array beneath his feet.

A moment later, he nodded, patted the spirit beast pouch at his waist, and released most of the six-winged frost centipedes he had previously stored. He then issued commands with a thought.

These snow-white centipedes, shaking their heads and wagging their tails, immediately burrowed into the ground near the array.

Only then did Han Li, feeling reassured, cast an incantation onto the edge of the array, activating it.

Instantly, white light flashed, and Han Li vanished from within the array.

The next moment, as he recovered from the disorientation of teleportation, he swept his gaze around and immediately found himself in a stone chamber.

The stone chamber wasn't large; it was empty on all sides. However, not far ahead was a bluestone door, surprisingly ajar.

He pondered for a moment, then sat down cross-legged and released his spiritual sense.

His spiritual sense slowly swept outwards from the stone door, simultaneously spreading out slowly in all directions, scouting all nearby rooms.

After a while, his expression relaxed. He confirmed that the cave dwelling was indeed empty and no other cultivators were hiding within.

Only then did Han Li stand up with peace of mind. He walked a few steps to the stone door, and with a flicker of his body, he vanished into the corridor outside.

Half a day later, a dazzling green rainbow shot out from the lake bottom. After flickering a few times, it vanished into the boundless distance amidst the sound of rushing air.

Within the escaping light, Han Li idly fiddled with a piece of light-golden ore in his hand, a faint smile on his face.

This time, in Barbarian Hu's cave dwelling, he had indeed gained a considerable harvest.

Barbarian Hu's hidden treasures were abundant, far exceeding his expectations. Whether it was the materials and treasures worth millions of spirit stones, or the collected ancient texts and secret techniques, many of them were ones Han Li had long heard of but never had the chance to examine. This brought him considerable surprise and delight. However, what excited him most among these treasures was not the items themselves, but a fist-sized piece of Geng essence mixed among the various materials.

Han Li had already gathered most of the Geng essence needed for the remaining half-set of flying swords in the Great Jin, lacking only a small amount. Now, he had obtained another such piece from Barbarian Hu's treasure trove. This immediately completed the materials, allowing him to incorporate Geng essence into all of his flying swords.

With this, the Great Geng Sword Array, composed of seventy-two flying swords, could finally be fully deployed.

Han Li had previously deployed a half-set of the sword array, using thirty-six flying swords. Its power was so immense that even late-stage cultivators trapped within it would be severely affected.

Once the complete sword array was finished, its terrifying power would be unimaginable.

No wonder the creator of this sword array had mentioned in the final part of the Azure Essence Sword Art that once the array was fully refined, it would be sufficient to traverse the world and ensure one's self-preservation.

Han Li also held significant hopes for this sword array.

He let out a light breath, flipped his hand, and the Geng essence vanished without a trace, stored inside his storage pouch.

The escaping light continued forward unhurriedly. After Han Li silently pondered for a moment, he suddenly opened his mouth, and a small cauldron, about an inch in size, flew out.

It was none other than the Void Heavenly Cauldron!

Han Li raised his hand, holding the cauldron in his palm. With a single-hand seal, he cast an incantation onto the cauldron's lid.

Immediately, the small cauldron glowed with a shimmering light, and its lid slowly shifted, creating a gap.

A golden flash occurred, and a talisman shot out from within.

Han Li was already prepared. He opened his mouth and spat out a stream of clear light, which struck the talisman.

Instantly, the golden talisman trembled and its spiritual light dimmed. It became utterly motionless within the green light, firmly fixed in front of him by his powerful spiritual energy.

Han Li swiftly reached out and grasped the talisman, holding it before his eyes for a careful examination.

This was the strange talisman Han Li had taken from Old Ancestor Jinhua. He had never seen such a talisman before. It could not only grant instantaneous movement but also transform into golden flowers and spirit bees, appearing to possess considerable power.

It seemed to be a unique, specially crafted talisman!

Han Li couldn't resist taking it out, intending to study it first.

At first glance, the talisman appeared quite ordinary. Han Li recognized most of the runes drawn on it; they were common ones. The only difference was the few silver ancient characters drawn at the four corners and in the center of the talisman.

These ancient characters were exceptionally mysterious, seemingly like scattered silver tadpole script. Upon seeing them, one could inexplicably sense a strong, primeval aura emanating from them.

Han Li scrutinized it repeatedly and finally confirmed that this type of script was absolutely unlike any other ancient script he had seen before. It seemed to be a unique system, bearing no relation to other ancient writings.

Furthermore, the surface of the talisman was covered with numerous bean-sized golden light spots. These spots seemed alive, moving erratically across the talisman, appearing and disappearing, making it incredibly mysterious.

Han Li stared at the golden talisman without blinking, his brows furrowing. "Hmph! Do you think you human realm cultivators can understand this kind of silver tadpole script? You might as well give up that thought!" Suddenly, a childish, milky voice emerged from the Void Heavenly Cauldron in Han Li's hand. Its tone, however, was astonishingly arrogant, as if it held Han Li in contempt.

Hearing this, Han Li's eyes flickered a few times, but instead of getting angry, he chuckled.

"Oh, it sounds like you recognize this type of script." "Hmph, very few people even in the Upper Realm understand this silver tadpole script. If I hadn't swallowed the Nascent Soul of a human cultivator who understood this script in the past, I wouldn't recognize it either." The childish voice said, without concealment.

"Why are you suddenly speaking to me today? I thought you had decided to make a home in the Void Heavenly Cauldron and never come out." Han Li stared at the Void Heavenly Cauldron, a hint of solemnity on his face, yet his words were cold.

"Before, you were just a mere human realm cultivator, not even having advanced to the Deity Transformation stage. What was there to talk about with you? But now it's different. Since you've obtained a spirit feather from a Sky-roaming Kunpeng, I naturally have things to discuss with you, and we can even make a deal." The childish voice from within the cauldron said indifferently.

"Sky-roaming Kunpeng? Do you mean that huge demon bird I saw at sea, trying to attack across realms?" Han Li's expression changed, and he instantly recalled the incredible battle he had witnessed in the Outer Star Sea that day.

"Heh heh! 'Demon bird,' you can only say that in the human realm. If the Sky Roc people, who worship this Kunpeng as a deity, were to know in the Spirit Realm, you'd likely stir up an enormous amount of trouble." The childish voice said with a sneer.

"Sky Roc people?" Han Li's heart stirred upon hearing this.

"There's nothing much to tell you about the Spirit Realm. If you can truly ascend there, you'll naturally find out. If you can't ascend, telling you these things would just be a waste of effort." The childish voice seemed dismissive, speaking with an old-fashioned arrogance.

"Your tone isn't small! Even if your true form, the Heavenly Lotus Sacred Bird, was an extraordinary demon cultivator in the Spirit Realm, after possessing a body in the human realm, you only just reached the cultivation level of an eighth-level demon beast.

It'll be a long time before you recover your divine abilities from the Deity Transformation stage!" Han Li retorted with a cold laugh.
